Celebrating 10 Years of Partnership and Possibility
The community is invited to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library’s 10th Anniversary Celebration!
Join us as we celebrate 10 years of partnership and possibility with a kick-off event on September 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the King Library. San José Mayor Chuck Reed and SJSU President Mohammad Qayoumi will speak about the decade of successful and award-winning partnership and unveil the contents of a time capsule buried at the old King Library in 1970.
Following the kick-off event, docent-led tours of the King Library will be available. Meet the tour leader at the Welcome Desk (1st Floor).
The fun then continues with a month-long celebration that includes live music, art exhibits, contests and more! All events are free and open to the public.
Enjoy free coffee and pastries during the kick-off event provided by Spartan Shops!
