Teen Talent ShowCan you sing? Dance? Juggle? Tell some jokes? Show off your unique talent by competing in our Teen Talent Show. Regional tournaments will be held on April 25th and May 2nd! Prizes will be awarded to 1st – 3rd place winners at regional events, but first and second place winners from each of the regional tournaments will participate in our final competition on Saturday, May 9th @ the Almaden Branch Library to win even bigger prizes!

See below for regional tournament locations and times. Pick up a registration packet at any library, but you must submit the form to the tournament location you plan to compete at. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!

Rules:

  • Age 12-18
  • Each performer(s) will be allowed a 5 minute set
  • Performance groups can be no larger than 10
  • Only indoor safe performances
  • Performance should not contain any profanity, vulgarity, excessive violence, or material considered offensive to any ethnic or religious groups, gender, or physically or mentally challenged persons
  • Only register for one regional tournament
  • Photo/video release forms must be signed
  • First and second place winners must be available for final show in May
  • At the event of a tie, audience will vote for tiebreaker

Judging is based on:

  • Stage presence
  • Originality
  • Audience response
  • Professionalism

Judges will vote on a scale from 1-10 in each categories. All scores will be added up and the sum will be the contestant’s final score.
