Joyce Ellington Branch Library

On June 28, 2008, the new Joyce Ellington Branch opened its doors to the culturally diverse community north of downtown San José. The library is located south of Grant Academy with street and on-site parking.
The new facility has expanded to 14,500 square feet and contains:
- Community room for 75
- Technology center with 25 computers
- Study room for 6
- Teen center with computers
- Internet Café for personal computers
- Family place for storytelling.
The collection includes books and media in several languages.
Courtesy of the PlaneTree Health Library and the Health Trust, Joyce Ellington also houses a special collection of health-related information in our Community Health Information Center. Other online health-related resources can be found at our Health Information portal.
