Highway 87 (North & South): Take the Capitol Expwy. exit (southbound travelers turn right; northbound travelers turn left). At Pearl Ave, turn left. The library will be to your left.

Highway 85 (East & West): Take the Almaden Expwy. exit (westbound travelers will turn right; eastbound travelers will turn left). At Branham, turn right and turn left at the next light which is Pearl. The library will be the next building after the fire station.

Highway 101 (North & South): Take Hwy. 87 to Hwy. 85 to Almaden Expwy. Turn right on Almaden Expwy. At Branham, turn right and turn left at the next light which is Pearl. The library will be the next building after the fire station.

Highway 280 (North & South): In Downtown San José area, take Hwy. 87 south. Exit at Capitol and at Pearl Ave, turn left. The library will be to your left.

Highway 880/17 (North & South): Take Hwy. 85 east to Almaden Expwy. and drive north. At Branham, turn right and turn left at the next light which is Pearl. The library will be the next building after the fire station.

From Downtown San José: Either take Hwy. 87 (directions above) or take 1st St. to Monterey Highway and turn right on Capitol Expwy. Turn left at Pearl, and the library will be on your left.

There is a library parking lot with handicapped spaces.

Bus Routes

Bus Routes: Route 70 stops on Capital Expressway about a half a mile from the library. For details, and other routes contact Valley Transportation Authority (County Transit) at (408)321-2300.

Light Rail: Get off at the Branham Station. Walk west on Branham to Pearl (a 10 minute walk). Turn right, and the library is on the right, next to the fire station.
