Friends of the Library Book Sale
Books galore and amazing deals! Friends of the Library get first dibs from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and the sale opens to the general public at 10:00 AM. After 2:00 PM, every bag of books you fill is only $2. All proceeds go to the Friends of the West Valley Library, who generously support the library's programs and collections.

West Valley Book Club
Join us if you like to discuss all kinds of fascinating books. This month we'll be reading and discussing Tethered by Amy MacKinnon. It's the story of a young undertaker's assistant and the interesting world she occupies. Booklist magazine says "MacKinnon's fascination with the inner workings of her uncle's funeral business inspired this haunting, gracefully rendered, debut." All interested readers are welcome.

teensReach Meeting
Teens, get involved! teensReach is our advisory and volunteer group for teens ages 13-18. We meet every third Thursday of the month to share ideas and coordinate activities in the library. Earn volunteer hours, be heard, make a difference in your community, and have fun! We also offer Reading Buddies training after the meeting for new volunteers.
