Introduction

The Friends of the San José Public Libraries are volunteers committed to support and supplement needed library resources. Friends advocate the importance of library services in our communities and raise funds to achieve library goals. Your donations of gently used and resalable books are accepted year-round at all library locations.

Share your ideas, time and talents to enrich library services
Provide more books, cassettes, CDs, and magazines for our communities
Encourage children to make reading and using libraries an essential part of their lives
Enhance technological resources in the library


Friends Groups

Each San José Public Library location is supported by a Friends group through Book Sales and other fund-raising activities. Click here for more about Book Sales.

The San José All Friends Group is a collaboration of members from all of the individual branch Friends groups.
