Laptop Use at King Library

Personal Laptops

Personal laptops plug into different connections from those used by SJSU laptops:

• Find the general location of Personal Laptop Connections via the Computer Connections tab on each King Library Floor Map.
  
  
• Identify a Personal Laptop Connection cable in the King Library by the  green  label next to the cable.

• For more information or help, please ask a King Library public service desk.

Current SJSU students, faculty and staff may borrow laptops for use within the King Library from the SJSU Student Computer Service Center located in the Lower Level, Room L67, during regular King Library operating hours.

• SJSU library laptop may be borrowed for up to 4 hours at a time.
• After the 4 hours, you may renew your laptop loan, subject to laptop availability.
• You are required to have a valid Tower Card ID and Library Account.
• The Student Computer Service Center has HP Notebooks and Tablet PCs available.

SJSU library laptop connections designated with a bright  pink  label can be found on almost all floors and in all group study rooms in King Library.
